About

National Center for High-performance Computing(NCHC), founded in 1991, plays a leading role in cloud technology that possesses a large computing, storage, networking and platform integration. The NCHC established the render farm in November 2011, combining the sensor network and innovative cyber-physical holographic projection technology, and accelerating technological development that incorporates cultural elements.

Based on the interdisciplinary nature of cloud rendering, The NCHC established the Arts Technology Computing Division (NCHC Arts) in November 2019, to manage the Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab Second Term Overall Development Plan. In February 2020, The NCHC Arts stationed an office at C-LAB and started the Technology Art Creatives—R&D services project to support art creations with technology, which helps Taiwan in boosting its cultural innovations.
