The Everyday Development Agency (EDA) is currently conducting research at the Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab (C-LAB) on how art might enter corporate environments. Through visits and conversations with companies and brands across different industries, we are observing the forms of collaboration that contemporary art might develop within organizational structures, working processes, and commercial environments.
This public program translates these research questions into two scenario-based decision-making games: Emergency Board Meeting and Artist, Take Your Place.
If a company were to add an “artist” position, which department would this artist be assigned to? What would they actually do?
The two games will take place sequentially within the same session. Participants will discuss, pitch, and vote while working with limited information and differing positions. Through these decisions, the activity explores how we understand talent, departments, professional roles, and collaboration—and where art might be positioned within a company.
In addition to invited participants from corporate and brand-related fields, a limited number of places will be open to the public. We especially welcome corporate marketing executives and company owners or decision-makers to participate. The discussions, judgments, and choices made during the games will become part of the field research for this project.
Registration Notes
The content of the two sessions is identical. Please register for one session only.
Each session is open to 3–5 public participants. Eligible participants should be corporate marketing executives or company owners/decision-makers.
The activity will be conducted in Mandarin Chinese.
All activity records will be anonymized, and participants’ identities will not be disclosed.
