About Us

To explore future themes and forefronts of visual art, C-LAB’s Future Vision Lab launched its namesake experimental exhibition and performance project FUTURE VISION LAB in 2020, centered on a large-scale immersive dome space using the concepts of digital architecture to deliver ultra-high-resolution surround video. In 2023, the lab upgraded the theater experience with a 15-meter diameter dome structure that can be transported. In 2024, DOME was granted patents for its architectural and projection systems, christened “FVL DOME”. An experimental audio-visual space integrating multiple technologies, pushing sensory boundaries and creating hybrid real-virtual worlds.

The lab incorporates research and development functions, coordinating R&D in image processing, mapping, hardware-software integration, surround sound, and structural design. In addition to curating exhibitions and supporting creators, the lab undertakes interdisciplinary research with a vision toward future visual innovation.

C-LAB Technology Media Platform focuses on experimental innovation and social connection. With an interdisciplinary, co-creative, and collaborative approach, C-LAB is constructed into a cultural and technological experimental platform containing a broad range of media and technology laboratories.
