Reinvigorate C-LAB by Leveraging AI to Unlock the Futures for the Capital exhibition focuses on the past and future of the C-LAB campus, provoking the imagination of audiences. The exhibit presents the history of the C-LAB campus through a display of documents and artifacts, using words and imagery to offer insights into the objects, each holding a key to the story of the C-LAB campus. AI-generated video and technology-based art help visualize future possibilities at C-LAB, revealing an imaginative blueprint for C-LAB and inviting visitors to contemplate the myriad possibilities to be uncovered at the C-LAB campus. Workshops held during the exhibition will offer public audiences a chance to participate in the collective imagining of C-LAB’s rejuvenation.
The exhibit is organized by C-LAB and curated by VisionBASE of the College of Design at Shih Chien University (SCU), headed by Associate Professor and Dean of the Architecture Department WANG Chun-Hsiung of SCU, with the collaboration of Chairperson LIANG Yu-Chang of Chinese Institute of Urban Design, Associate Professor of Architecture Department LIN Jing-Jiuan of National Taipei University of Technology, and Assistant Professor of Architecture LU Yen-Cheng of SCU. The official partners of the exhibition are the Chinese Institute of Urban Design, Rhizome Operator Co., Ltd., and MK Origin Studio.
