Four artist talks will be held during the exhibition period, featuring the exhibition's curator CHUANG Wei-Tzu, along with Erica Yu-Wen HUANG, CHEN Kuan-Yu, and SHEN Bo-Yi as moderators, and WENG Chih-Chi as the panelist. The talks will revolve around the works presented in this exhibition, the long-term artistic practices of the participating artists, and their multifaceted interpretations of language and sound. These in-depth conversations with both local and international artists will offer insights into their creative concepts and artistic contexts.

Session 1
▌siren eun young jung
Born in 1974 in Incheon, South Korea, siren eun young jung (she/her) lives and works in Seoul. She teaches at the Korea National University of Art, Sungkyunkwan University, and Seoul Women’s University. She studied visual arts and feminist theory at the Ewha Womans University and the University of Leeds. Her work explores how anonymous desires encounter world events and become resistance, history, and politics. Representative works include the “Dongducheon Project” (2007-2009) and the “Yeoseong Gukgeuk Project” (2008-present), with mediums spanning art, film, and performance. She received the Korea Artist Prize (2018), the Sindoh Art Prize (2015), and the Hermes Foundation Art Award (2013) and participated in the 2019 Venice Biennale. Recent solo exhibitions have been presented at theLeonard & Bina Ellen Art Gallery, Montreal (2023), and Kunstverein Düsseldorf (2020).
▌CHEN Fei-Hao
CHEN Fei-Hao, born in 1985, is clever at writing and resorting to conceptual photography and moving images to interpret various issues associated with history and culture as well as social changes, and he also combines images with such media as installations, videos, and literature to probe into the possibilities of the convergences among different media.
▌WENG Chih-Chi
WENG Chih-Chi holds a Ph.D. in Taiwanese Literature from National Chengchi University. She has served as a visiting scholar at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris and as a visiting professor in the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Pusan National University. She is currently teaching at the Graduate Institute of Taiwanese Literature at National Taipei University of Education. Her co-authored works include Encountering Literary Formosa, Whisper of Relics: The Stories Behind 228 Related Objects, Reading Sexualities: The Many Faces of Gendered Literature in Taiwan, and Island Time Machine. Her research interests include contemporary Taiwanese literature, Hong Kong literature, Thai-Chinese literature, U.S. aid and the anti-communist cultural system, Cold War cultural politics, and gender studies.

▌Steph HUANG
Steph HUANG’s multidisciplinary practice investigates mass production and commerce, the transcultural and historical dimensions of the food industry, and the influence of such markets on modern lifestyles and natural environments. HUANG transforms everyday spaces and objects, resulting in minimalist sculptures and poetically charged installations of quiet resonance. Recent solo exhibitions include Lili Deli, Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Taipei (2025); Art Now: See, See, Sea, Tate Britain, London (2024); Property for Sale, Hong Foundation, Taipei (2024); There Is Nothing Old Under The Sun, Standpoint, London (2024); and The Water that Bears the Boat, E-WERK Freiburg, Germany (2024). She was awarded the Mark Tanner Sculpture Award (2023-2024), the Henry Moore Foundation Artist Award (2023), and the Grand Prize at the Taipei Art Awards (2022).
▌South HO Siu-Nam
South HO Siu-Nam’s artistic practice began with photography and has since evolved to the inclusion of performance, drawing, and mixed media installations. His works encompass the wonders and helplessness of living, the spirituality of existence, as well as the socio-political awareness of Hong Kong. Recent exhibitions include the 8th Yokohama Triennale, Yokohama (2024); M+, Hong Kong (2024); Chinese Cultural Center of San Francisco, San Francisco (2023); Saatchi Gallery, London (2023); Para Site, Hong Kong (2023); Museum of Contemporary Art Taipei (2021); National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul (2020).
▌Erica Yu-Wen HUANG
Erica Yu-Wen HUANG holds a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from University of Leicester, United Kingdom. Formerly Curator of Exhibition and Learning at Centre for Heritage, Arts & Textile (CHAT), Hong Kong and Adjunct Lecturer at the Institute of Applied Arts, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. HUANG’s curatorial research focuses on the hybrid culture, migration history, geopolitics, and the dynamic among nature, human being and environment. She also hosts the podcast More Than Casual Talk and is currently based in Taipei.
