- Time: October 3(Sat.)13:00-16:00
- About Workshop:
This workshop will be conducted in English with Chinese interpretation. It is designed for complete beginners with no prior experience in TouchDesigner, and no previous experience is required. Participants will gain a foundation from which they can begin exploring and developing their own TouchDesigner projects.
Session 2: Creative Workshop
- Topic: SYNZR × TouchDesigner POP
- Instructor: Jie LIOU, WU Ping-Sheng
- Time: October 3(Sat.)18:00-21:00
- About Workshop:
This workshop focuses on hands-on exploration of POP fundamentals. POP is a family of operators recently introduced to TouchDesigner, specifically designed for working with points. The workshop will begin with an introduction to the POP data model, followed by an exploration of attributes and the relationships between POPs and related operators. Participants will also work with POPs and instancing, PBR materials, and lighting environments to understand how these elements influence the overall visual quality of a project.
Within the constraints of real-time rendering in TouchDesigner, participants will explore practical approaches to achieving desired visual results. This workshop is suitable for participants who have a basic understanding of TouchDesigner and instancing, but have not yet developed a systematic understanding of POPs.
