The C-LAB 2025 annual exhibition, Sounds of Babel, explores language as a medium of human communication and a core mechanism of cultural production. Language not only carries history and collective experience but also plays a crucial role in shaping identity. At the same time, the exhibition focuses on the uncertainties and ambiguities that arise when languages intersect, revealing the gaps and ruptures in communication.
In response to the exhibition's theme, C-LAB will host a series of artist talks, talks, workshops, lecture performances, and guided tours during the exhibition period (2025/06/07-08/10). These events invite the audience to rethink familiar forms of language from diverse perspectives and reflect on the conditions under which dialogue and resonance become possible in turbulent times.
