Organized by Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab (C-LAB), the 2026 annual exhibition WE Are Becoming centered on the concept of Becoming, moves beyond fixed cultural identities, pointing instead to a continuously evolving, interwoven, and reconstituted state of being. History has never truly vanished; it flows through architectural fissures and spatial traces, where the past “us” and the present “us” intersect, collectively asking: In reexamining history and the present, what are we becoming? What else can we become?
In response to the exhibition's theme, C-LAB will host a series of lecture performances, artist talks, talks, forum, workshops, community party and guided tours during the exhibition period (2026/05/08-07/12). These events invite the audience to enter an ever-evolving cultural field and reconsider the role and possibilities of art in contemporary society.
