The “Audiovisual Return - Moving Image Forum and Creative Audiovisual Experimentation Project” starts from reviewing the historical experience of Taiwan’s moving images and tries to discuss the current situation of audiovisual performances and practices in digital context, proposing a local perspective for the future. Forums will be organized according to issues such as the current definition and form of Taiwan’s moving images, the practices of moving image and digital stories-telling, the exploration of senses in audiovisual works of art and the prediction of moving image. During the project, the group will form a cross-disciplinary team, which will take “real-time cinema” audiovisual art-making as the experimental method to participate in the forums and respond to the issues, and commission the team to make a work combining the study and experiment of moving image with digital art practices.
