LIU Shih-Tung

Liu Shih-Tung was born in Miaoli in 1970 and got a bachelor's degree of Department of Fine Arts, Taipei National University of the Arts in 1994. He has long been working on the practices of visual art. He is skilled at reassembling everyday objects with the methods of collage, dismantling, juxtaposition and fusion which make his work rich and poetic. He has held several solo shows and participated in many international exhibitions; besides, he was awarded much international art funding and got invitations for artist-in-residence since both of the international and domestic art world show interest on him.
