Talks
The Faces of NFT Communities, Bust Prices and Social Capital

Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) thrived in 2021. Bust projects launched by the so-called “NFT project teams” comprised 80% of NFT transactions. It was not until the summer of 2022 that bull markets began around the world in which many NFT teams’ activities have come to a halt and the fad has slackened among NFT communities. The speaker mashbean is a non-profit NFT practitioner. Based on his personal experience and observation of NFT communities, the talk will address the question as to whether the interaction among web3 communities is an ephemeral speculative venture or a paradigm shift that radically alters the pattern of social interaction.

Time: 10/15 (SAT) 14:00-16:00
